Here is a little more about my professional background and experience: 

After graduating from the University of Washington with bachelor's degrees in Economics and French, I started my professional career as the Training and then Operations Manager for a local fashion retail jewelry company in Seattle. 

Five years later years, I attended graduate school at Seattle University, graduating with a Master of Education in Teaching ESL, and became an ESL instructor and taught at a variety of organizations in Seattle, Washington: Literacy Source, ACRS-Asian Counseling and Referral Services, ReWA-Refugee Women's Alliance, and ELS Language Centers, Seattle.

I taught at ELS Seattle, which is an IEP, for two years in the classroom, and then was promoted to the position of Academic Director.  I was the Academic Director for 10 years, and as the Academic Director I assessed and determined student's English language proficiency levels, scheduled classes, developed curriculum, designed courses, selected textbooks, and hired and managed ESL teachers.  

When the pandemic hit, sadly the school closed, and I decided to return to my original passion of teaching!  Since then, I have been teaching online to students living in Seattle and all over the world, and in-person in Madison Park, Seattle.
